General information

Innovation ID347
Version ID264
Innovation TitleQuality control panel developed and initially validated in groundnut and pearl millet
Innovation description Sequencing, SNP discovery and shortlisting of 48 most promising SNPs in addition to 10 more informative SNPs for which KASP assay already available. KASP assay developed for all the 48 SNPs and verified at Intertek (Hyderabad) on ICRISAT germplasm. Tested successfully the initial quality check panel with 20 SNPs by genotyping 1536 groundnut samples from HQ. This innovation once deployed in breeding program will enhance the accuracy to check true crosses.
