Innovation description | CG16 is a Spanish variety that has a yield potential of 1.3 to 1.8 mt/ha, early-maturing variety (90-110 days) with high grain yield and protein content. The pods have a medium constriction with a small pod beak and contain two seeds per pod. CG16 is tolerant to early leaf spot and the groundnut rosette disease. The seeds are medium sized with a tan color. This variety will potentially contribute to SDG Goals 1 and 2. |
