Stage DescriptionEleven small-scale nurseries developed their capacity, learning that meticulous attention to mother plant management is key to successful production of apical cuttings. They collectively sold 198,418 apical cuttings to private buyers. Smallholder farmers within the community of the nursery bought cuttings to produce seed on-farm for the following season.
