Innovation TitleOnline Business Plan Tool to Assess the Economic Feasibility of Investment in Flash Dryers in Nigeria, Colombia and the Democratic Republic of Congo
Innovation description This online tool simulates the return on investment (ROI) of a flash dryer system as a function of investment costs and operational costs. The tool uses predetermined information based on the averages of business plans of multiple cassava flour processors operating in highly contrasting business environments in D.R. Congo, Nigeria and Colombia. Data was collected during the RTB Scaling Readiness Flash Dryer project and serve to estimate of ROI, as part of a pre-feasibility study.
