Innovation description Target Product Profile (TPP) serve as a guide to the breeding team. It has all information on the Market Segments targeted for a given crop in a region, the market preferred attributes (must-have traits) along with ecological requirements to replace best cultivar in a given market segment and traits to be focused in the long-term to improve further. The breeding pipelines are designed to develop products meeting Target product profile requirements.
