Innovation description Based on the prevailing market segments and foretasted demand for dryland cereals and grain legumes . As a whole in ESA, 25 markets segments were identified for Sorghum(6), Pearl millet(4), Finger millet(5), Groundnut(5), Pigeonpea (3) and Chickpea(2) in 3 major agro-ecologies namely low, medium and high lands and accordingly 25 Target Product Profiles (TPPs) were developed so as to match with market segments.
