  Activity/Product Description
    
This activity operates across WCA (Northern Nigeria), ESA (Malawi and Tanzania) and SA (India) and combines on-farm, on-station agronomic research, farming systems simulation modelling and spatial analytics to develop agronomic packages, targeted recommendations for crop traits and spatial targeting for interventions. Central to the application of farming systems models are the biophysical (e.g. soil, crop, met), socioeconomic (farmer decision making) and structural (e.g. rotations, farm system etc) parameterization information available to realistic simulate on-farm scenarios.
