1. Stakeholder network analyisis to identify institutional set up of the IP. 2. Establish and maintain functional IPs as mechanisms for facilitating transitions in farming systems and enhance capacities of farmer-extension-NARs in the process. 3. Jointly identify/revise development pathways and associated high potential value chains, barriers to and solutions for systems improvement; 4. Stakeholder exploration of value chain opportunities; 5. Develop and use tools for improving self-organization andmulti-level learning in and across IPs
