Activity/Product Description
Drought being an important abiotic, screening to identify varieties which are tolerant or escape drought is one of the main activities in the program. Varieties identified through screening the germplasm will be screen in at least 4 dry land stations in the region and varieties found to be constantly tolerant/escaping drought will be selected for advancement for release or as sources of resistance to drought
