  Activity/Product Description

Profile grain of farmer preferred and improved pearl millet varieties. Pearl millet is high in micro nutrients especially Fe, however varieties are also known to vary in the contents with a few having relatively higher content. Nutrient information of pearl millet varieties grown or promoted in the region is lacking. Data collected would serve to inform on those varieties high in these nutrients for promotion and to act as donors in the breeding programs
