WorldFish-led advocacy work for Integrated Agriculture-Aquaculture (IAA) systems in Egypt has led to the Lake and Fish Resources Protection and Development Agency (LFRPDA), the agency responsible for fisheries in Egypt according to Law 146, for year 21, to include a component on IAA led by WorldFish in a new project they are leading: "Promoting Sustainable and Resilient Aquaculture for Economic Development (PROSURE-AQUA)". This is the first time LFRPDA has worked on and supported the scaling of IAA systems in Egypt.
