OUR IMPACT

Goals

Under the two main activities planned, the project aims to maintain Marab and some gully plugs at the Vallerani restored site and of water harvesting structures.. The project also aims to monitor the restored sites, soil moisture at theKhanasri Research Site (KRS) and soil moisture at the Badia Research Site (BRS).

Objectives

The project aims to enhance local community capacity on the importance of rainwater harvesting (RWH) and methods through meetings and field visits.

Problems and Needs Analysis

The problem that the project tackles is the need for repairing damaged soil structures. and repairing and maintaining gully plugs aims to enhance the prevention of soil erosion.

Intervention Strategy(ies)

The project will apply different methodologies for Marab rainwater harversing (RWH) and for gully plugs RWH different sub-activities, such as field visits are conducted periodically.
