OUR IMPACT

Objectives

To provide technical support to IGAD member states in the design, monitoring and evaluation of investment plans to end drought emergencies and enhance resilience to drought.

Problems and Needs Analysis

Lack of understanding of how to design development projects to build long term resilience to drought in dryland areas of East Africa (IGAD region). Lack of data and framework to monitor and evaluate impact of interventions on resilience.

Intervention Strategy(ies)

Capacity development; M&E framework development and implementation; data collection and compilation.
