Activity/Product Description
Evaluate promising finger millet varieties with farmers under their conditions for adaption and farmer acceptance. Scientists have been developing and releasing varieties of different crops, with low adoption by farmers. this is mainly because they have been mainly concentrating on high yield and resistance to abiotic and biotic stresses and neglecting farmer preferences like quality and color of grain, easy of harvesting and threshing etc. it is important to evaluate with farmers under their conditions to interpose these qualities on the variety
